The exhibition explores the fundamentals of environmental architecture. Starting point is the encounter of the elements of water and architecture. At first glance, a very simple, not to say elementary, theme which, precisely because of its simplicity, allows infinite readings.
The multiple possible relationships between water and architecture are explored in a series of design experiments. Together they allow us to experimentally interrogate two fundamental questions of environmental architecture, on the one hand the relationship between material and immaterial and on the other the encounter with the scale of landscape. The single proposals, which are presented in the exhibition oscillate between these two readings, superimposing them where appropriate, and produce an image of a kind of architecture made up mainly of space and time, imagined in extremis even without construction.
The different parts of the exhibition form a sequence of ever-increasing complexity. Each part has its own specific context and scale, from the rice-fields of the pre-alpine planes to the delta of the Po river with its lagoons.
As always: art and music will be an example.
