Conference: Mark Pohl and Susanne Katzenberger meet Z.Architektur
Series: The future of the decentralised

Mark Pohl from DesignWe.Love and Susanne Katzenberger from UNVERLOREN, who saved old casting moulds and therefore the forms they produced from oblivion, meet the team from Z.architektur, a young collective of architects, which build a small house for two families out of straw.

Both projects took place in the small German town of Weimar and are examples of how to activate local craftsmanship and of the different ways in which local value creation, the reuse of existing resources, material knowledge, new global sales channels and a fundamental culture of design in different combinations are able to initiate new potential right next to us.
